Ken Soble Tower by ERA Architects named as Grand Prize Award Recipient at the EIFS Council of Canada 2022 Design Awards Celebration Dinner

(June 9, 2022, Toronto, ON) Industry professionals gathered on the evening of June 6th 2022 to recognize and celebrate the Finalists and Grand Prize Award recipient of the 2022 EIFS Council of Canada (ECC) Architectural Design Awards. During the evening’s presentations, the ECC announced the Ken Soble Tower by ERA Architects as the Grand Prize winner for this year’s Awards. The Ken Soble Tower project was selected by the 2022 Awards Judging Panel for the Grand Prize from amongst the seven, excellent category Finalists.

Despite the shortened submission timeline due to the pandemic and hardships faced by the building industry in the past year, the Awards Program received a record volume of project submissions from across Canada in all available categories. The 2022 Finalists exhibited excellence in the areas of design, contribution to community, sustainability, technical excellence, and the innovative use of EIFS. The Finalists projects, their utilized EIFS systems, as well as the consulting and construction teams are as follows:
